Alltech Research Internship Available for Spring, Summer and Fall 2018

Internships at the Alltech Center for Animal Nutrigenomics and Applied Animal Nutrition offers students the opportunity to work in a professional research setting and to utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Each intern is assigned to a research project in conjunction with a supervising scientist or team member.

From traditional nutrition evaluation projects to the evaluation and optimization of production processes, these projects allow students to receive valuable information and gain hands-on experience. Many Alltech interns have gone on to graduate school, while others have found career paths with Alltech.

Examples of Research Areas:

• Industrial fermentation processes
• Enzyme production and applications
• Animal feed supplementation strategies
• Nutritional physiology and nutrigenomics
• Process biochemistry, microbiology and engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must have completed their second year of university courses
• Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Applicants may be subject to interviews
• Full and part time internships may be available

Pay (Paid or Volunteer): Paid

Location: Nicholasville, Kentucky

• Winter/Spring Internship (January � April) - October 1, 2017
• Summer Internship (May � August) - February 1, 2018
• Fall Internship (September � December) - June 1, 2018
