The legislative session will run from Jan. 9 to mid-March for 2018.
Interns are required to live and work in Tallahassee during the full duration of the legislative session. At the end of session, students are free to leave Tallahassee and return to Gainesville or other destinations. Housing will be provided in Tallahassee until March 15, 2018. After that time, students will be responsible for their own living arrangements and accommodations for the remainder of the spring semester.
Several mandatory orientation sessions will be held in Gainesville in late November or early December where the previous year's interns will discuss the internship with accepted applicants.
