Char-O-Lot Ranch Hiring Breeding Barn Intern for Spring 2018 Season

Char-O-Lot Ranch, located in Myakka City, Florida, is hiring a breeding barn intern for the 2018 season.

This is a paid internship with housing, and the internship runs from January to June 2018.

Interns will be required to:

• Handle mares and foals
• observe and assist with foaling
• Assist with medical treatments and procedures
• Assist with preparing and administering daily farm medications
• Assisting with reproductive procedures such as breeding, palpations, laviaging, stallion collection, semen preparation, and semen shipping
• Assisting farrier
• Halter breaking foals
